ewwwwww, you are one of those who like the specular bloom and blur?![R-CON]creepin wrote:i wish the BF2 engine could render the lighting and shadows of each piece of equipment sticking on the solider, like those polished renders in the OP..

It can't?[R-CON]creepin wrote:i wish the BF2 engine could render the lighting and shadows of each piece of equipment sticking on the solider, like those polished renders in the OP..

Ahhh yea. Alright, my bad[R-CON]creepin wrote:not talking about the bloom or blur
i'm talking about the shadows of the let's say holsters that should project little shadows on the soldiers body..
but in the BF2 engine those shadows (iirc there are some for kit geos) have a resolution of lego blocks, that are 5x enlarged
EDIT: i know this is somewhat nitpicking, but stuff like that makes a huge difference..
Megan Fox is a dude.[R-CON]creepin wrote:yeah, and in the renders it's probably raytraced, so it's a killer lighting effect anyways
all i wanted to convey is that your pretty models won't shine in their fullest glory in the BF2 engine.

you better be joking fella.verbaldude wrote:good work no more blacks in the army!

well i was kinda serious b/c all the models seem to be black while irl most ppl in the army are white[R-CON]Rudd wrote:you better be joking fella.
1) it has been stated the asian character is just being used to demo the kits
2) that could be construed as a racist remark.
If you a joking, you must give some indication, sarcasm does not transmit well over the internet.
