Ha! So the camelbak holds water. Reminds me of Fremen.

Anyway, these are awesome improvements.

ewwwwww, you are one of those who like the specular bloom and blur?!

oh dear, and I thought you were one of the good guys :(

Awesome new kits, the gear, and everything on the soldiers look great, attention paid to details.Faces could maybe be a little different, but they're good. And not sure on the ones with the non-combat eyewear on,lol..But other than that, looks really sweet. :)

[R-CON]creepin wrote:not talking about the bloom or blur

i'm talking about the shadows of the let's say holsters that should project little shadows on the soldiers body..

but in the BF2 engine those shadows (iirc there are some for kit geos) have a resolution of lego blocks, that are 5x enlarged :)

EDIT: i know this is somewhat nitpicking, but stuff like that makes a huge difference..
Ahhh yea. Alright, my bad :)

What you are talking about is ambient occlusion (self shadowing of models). Theoretically it is very possible, it would just be very impractical in the system we use.
This would essentially require unique textures for each possible kit combination when the engine can't do it dynamically, such as Sandbox2.

[R-CON]creepin wrote:yeah, and in the renders it's probably raytraced, so it's a killer lighting effect anyways

all i wanted to convey is that your pretty models won't shine in their fullest glory in the BF2 engine.

you better be joking fella.

1) it has been stated the asian character is just being used to demo the kits

2) that could be construed as a racist remark.

If you a joking, you must give some indication, sarcasm does not transmit well over the internet.
