The F-15's are usually not permitted to fly past 10pm or so, but they sometimes to take off after midnight for training exercises near the coast. The GA and Commercial air traffic isn't as bad either, most non-military aircraft depart (when weather permits) from the runway heading that goes opposite the city. Besides, the whole town has become used to the noise and generally doesn't mind it. I think I sleep through most of it anyways.

Basically, the issue from jet aircraft isn't when they are flying low and slow, but when they are ripping overhead at a fast rate such as during takeoff. When those AB's are burning, the roar can be felt just as bad as it can be heard. It's not really suppressive, but can be quite annoying when trying to talk on the phone or radio.

How often do you play a map with Jets?

Also - his thread will be locked soon I'm guessing, the Devs don't add stuff in "Because it would be cool".

Let the MODs moderate mate, the suggestion was valid if not desirable ingame.

the gun suppresses infantry afaik, but not dudes in vehicles

don't ever be afraid to make a suggestion if its not on the AAS thread or a resuggestion, fresh ideas do still occur on these forums, and they are noted by the DEVs. Some suggestions aren't desirable, doesn't mean we shouldn't discuss them, in the past I've been made to see the light for various suggestions I didn't like at first glance (though this isn't one of them)
