Great great great Allies of our Clan ;)

Great server and team ! But server's not enough online.

French and German servers feel a little bit alone to represent Europe !

Ok there's Tactics & Teamwork, but they seem to be less and less online !

C'mon guys get your *ss online ! "We need support! Do you copy ?"

In all seriousness though, great server, well run, never encountered any problems on there.

If the server was at 62 players it could be the reserve slot kicker, it only kicks after spawn. A message does appear in the top left stating that you will be kicked.

We have had to use this now as we don't run BF2CC anymore and not always were admins in the server, so no-one could kick for a space.

Hey RIP.

Just wanted to comment on a good server, i always seem to have a good game on it.

Very friendly RIP members also, if I see only a couple of you in the server, I always jump on to help get it kick started.

Keep up the good work guys!

(Dunno why I've never posted here before...)

I found playing on the RIP server to be very good. Well populated and lots of people who knew what they were doing. All good.

The only draw back is the offensive behaviour by their admins (Gunner & Grey Wolf in particular).

One of my clan mates got banned for a PB gamehack on the RIP server a week or so ago. I knew straight away this couldn't be correct and sure enough today Even Balance reversed the ban due to an error made by the RIP server.

The clan member followed the RIP 'why am I banned' rules last week and was repeatedly abused in their forums. When he posted today on their forums pointing out the ban had been lifted, he was again abused by Gunner and had his forum account BANNED.

Assuming Gunner had misread the post, I registered and posted ONCE asking for them to apologise and was then BANNED by Grey Wolf telling me I was welcome to play elsewhere.

What nice people to have a PR license

If you understand how PB works then you should know that the server admins cannot ban you in the MBL for a hack, PB picked up your clan member as having something not right and your member was informed of the relevant PB MBL violation and told that we cannot do anything about it speak to PB to get the ban lifted if you think it was wrong, which he did and has been proven not guilty.

The fact that you then came into our forums and accused the admins of being heavy handed and not knowing how to admin was what resulted in your ban since they cannot and did not have anything to do with the ban or unban as it is fully automated through the PBbans and the MBL.

To quote a section in our ban forum rules
Points to remember when posting to get your ban lifted:

* Trying to be smart
* Accusing the admin of hacking
* Accusing the admin of not knowing his job

Will normally result in your ban staying.
As can be seen on our ban forums most players adhere to the rules and do not abuse admins, can get their bans recinded if it was an admin ban (and the admin deems they wish to unban) and not a PB MBL ban.

Since we do not tolerate any abuse of any sort then as Grey said you are welcome to play elsewhere. I just wish when they banned your account they left didn't 'ban and delete posts' to validate the position and reasoning.

Firstly can I clarify that I am NOT the member of the =B2K= clan who was banned from your server.

When our clan member originally posted asking for the reason of the ban he didn't know what had happened. He posted asking for the reason and as soon as the word 'hack' was mentioned several members of your clan were abusive.

We do understand how PB bans work. That is why he raised a ticket with EB, which as I said has now been resolved in his favour. The problem was identified as an error on YOUR server. A link to this was supplied in the RIP forum post today by my clan mate as information so that your admins were aware he was not a hacker. This was to prevent any future kicks or bans due to misunderstanding.

Gunner then proceded to rant on your forums and banned my clan mate from your forums.

As I said, I assumed he misundertood and I posted ONCE on your forums to point this out and ask for an apology. I was polite and was not abusive in any way however I was later banned from your forums without a reason being given. I have a print out of this thread even if your admins have deleted it to protect themselves from criticism.

I admit my clan mate retaliated on your forums (alias), although in the face of severe provocation. As your on the defensive I feel I must say that several of your clan members and admins were the first to be abusive to him.

Quite frankly there was never any need for this level of hostility from your clan mates and such behaviour can only damage the reputation of RIP.

Peace out

I am aware that you were not the member in question, sorry if anything I said was construed in that manner.

Having been away for a few weeks after I posted to the thread with the link to the MBL I did not see any of the thread after that point until a post was placed tonight by one of the forum admins stating they had banned and deleted two members from your clan due to conduct unbecoming, stating agressive behaviour. As they deleted the members the posts get deleted too which meant I could not view the thread to see the full context only what I have been informed.

As you say "The problem was identified as an error on YOUR server", I am interested in this since it runs only the approved PB configs with auto-MBL, surely it has to be a PB problem that may have happened on our server but not an issue with our server per se, otherwise I'm sure our server would have been stopped from streaming to the MBL?
Tone of language in a post can be construed very differently, for example the above line could be construed as aggresive by some.

Feel free to contact me via PM and/or PM me a scanned copy of the topic so I can view, but no further discussion will take place in this thread.

Many servers have reserved slots.
so I dont have a problem with that.

But your system is not as good as on other servers.

On yours it lets me load the map and lets me think that I join the game. Now after loading I am getting kicked because of reserved slots maximum reached.

So I loaded for nothing and dont even know how many slots are reserved...
Do you want me to load the map 100 times until I can stay in?

For your own advantage your should wether change your system like other servers have it (you can not connect to the server) or write somewhere in the server info how many slots are reserved.
