now, is it possible to do the same thing with thrown grenades?
I'm not sure I even understand the question? You are suggesting players attempt to fire small-arms at a live hand grenade that has been activated?Shaihuluid wrote:So, remember this video?

ah, you got me way off.I'd suggest making grenades move when knifed (eg: "kicked" as has been suggested earlier). It's trivial, yes, but why not?Brummy wrote:I don't see why you would want to do that, as you would be able to shoot the grenade and it would fly away?

If it aint happening, it aint using resources....BloodBane611 wrote:Better idea: If you see a grenade, RUN.
Also, dynamic objects take up a lot of resources, why use them for an activity that will happen almost none of the time?

No. But you Couldrushn wrote:shoot grenade ROFL WAFFLE
would you do that in real life?
Meh, just for the heck of itBringerof_D wrote:lol knifing the nade XD, the socer ball didnt roll very far, what makes you think the grenade will?
Well, I suspect that there's only going to be 1-5 grenades going down and then blowing up, so I'd suspect that this would not be an issueTruism wrote:Because it wastes server resources?
As others have pointed out, and I am going to confirm, you are not going to attempt anything remotely close. When you see, hear, or even suspect a grenade has landed nearby your priority reaction should be to take immediate cover while shouting out a warning to fellow soldiers.Shaihuluid wrote:ah, you got me way off.I'd suggest making grenades move when knifed (eg: "kicked" as has been suggested earlier). ( Agreed ) i feel that it wouldnt be worth the hastle ... granades already have a bounce + friction effect when going down hills n stuff sooo.... i dont see why we should change itTruism wrote:Because it wastes server resources?
