Had EA/Dice kept the randomization
Had the developers kept this bit of gold coding in the game, what do you think the current Project Reality would be more like?

Yeah I was thinking what rushn was thinking
if BF2 wasnt so hardcoded, PR would be it's own game already using BF2's engine!
Fastropes...

No i mean the randomization code
In Forgotten Hope, some levels had pickup kits that had either a pistol, shotgun, or rifle, or stuff like that, the kitss were random as to what weapon you had some of them, and the type of Vehicles were random as well
It was an interesting thing to see random values, that appearently was removed from BF2/can't reproduce, as far as I've heard

Ye with python there is no reason why it couldn't be done, might have to change the spawn system a little to do it but its doable.Th3Exiled wrote:Spawning random kits and vehicles sounds perfectly doable to me (with the use of python). After all, we do have caches spawning randomly, now don't we?

I think this is matter of balance. DEVs always watching it. But war is not balanced, and gameplay should be more interesting without knowing that enemy has the same count of thanks, choppers etc. This differs from current gameplay strategies, yes. But, hell, this will be cool to find these strategies on the field, not on loading screen (where You can see both sides vehicles). Like ESRB notices says: Game Experience May Change During Online PlayDeltaFart wrote:.. and the type of Vehicles were random as well..
So, my word is BIG YES.
