Two suggestions that I have regarding prone:
1. Moving in prone can be pretty "dull" sometimes, if you know what I mean. I was thinking of adding the "moving camera" effect when sprinting, (or something similar) while in prone and moving.
2. Can prone be blocked?. If I have a wall to my right, I am in prone possition and I try to move left, can the wall block my movement?. Or if I have an wall in my back, can I be restricted from proning as I do not have enough space?.
And one itsy bitsy crouch suggestion:
I would like for my char to stay in chrouched possition even if I release chrouch button(default: c) from my keyborad, and go back in stading possition when I press chrouch button(default: c) again. This may somewhat healp with players that are bobbing up and down behinde a fence, hill, etc.
2 in 1 prone suggestion.

Toggle crouch has been suggested soooo many times, can't really be done
Headbob is quite hard to implement as many people get motion sickness, which is why games that feature it tend to have an option to disable it.

It can too, Rudd.toggle crouch[...]can't really be done
(With an external, completely legal-by-PB script. Which I have. If you want. PM me.)
Also, we already have bob for sprinting and weapon actions, as long as the prone one isn't TITANIC SWAYING, it could be alright. Though it might not be possible, depending on whether prone-specific first person animations can be done (since you always crawl around the same way you'd walk, in first person).

Yeah, I'm just busting chops. But that doesn't mean it doesn't solve the problem.snooggums wrote:I think Rudd means within the BF2 engine![]()

Of course, the sway effect should not be to "intense".Celestial1 wrote:

Celestial, is it possible to package your script with PR and have it run when PR starts and end when PR stops?
That might do it..

Headbob should be realistic. Attach a head-cam to someone as they do a mock crawl-around, crouch around, and run around. Then we do it like that

Re: 2 in 1 prone suggestion.
Possible, feasible, and I know it can be done, but I haven't touched the script maker in some time now with being so busy with schooling. And even then, my knowledge with the coding language wasn't all that substantial.dStartrekern wrote:Celestial, is it possible to package your script with PR and have it run when PR starts and end when PR stops?

I'll eventually make a script that loads PR, the desired scripts, and maybe stuff like mumble. But it'll be a while before I can take the time to actually devote time to researching the commands and such.
