find legal protection for the magazine
otherwise you're all gonna end up with a lot of problems.
Creative commons copyright is a good starter I'd suggest, but you'll need a website to validate it.
Additionally, While I'm not interested in being a part of the magazine staff, I may be interested in submitting the occasional freelance tactics piece. Is this possible?
Depending on the quality and content of your work, yes.
At the moment what we are doing is pooling the staff, getting a certain amount we need to fill certain positions, and applying them to said positions in respect to what they would like to do. We have already recieved quite a few aplications in regards to 'tactics writeups' so it seems it will be quite competitive when getting a piece.
And yes, this does mean that not everybody will get a turn, survival of the fittest per se.
I am resource manager, not the coordinator or the boss who puts it all together, however I would strongly suggest a page where we can have people
not staffing the magazine who can put in a short writeup.
