PR:V's Incoporation into Main Build
My question is that,
Similar to PRSP, will we see PR:V incorporated into possibly the main PR Build in v0.93 or something along the lines such as that.
Or will we see it as a standalone mod that requires you to install a newer game version.

Re: PR:V's Incoporation into Main Build
We are debating this right now.. I would hope that we will have this decided well before .93.. As PR:V is not far off from being ready to go.
I do know that we won't hold up .91 for it.

I have a question similar to this topic... Will PR:V basically be PR with different factions and maps, or will it actually explore new gameplay?

I hope they keep the actual PR gameplay and be incorporated to the main PR.

I think we should merge the two
I mean then we really will not lose players to any one technically then!

I guess my question wasn't very clear... Basically, will you keep the same deviation sets, squad kit layouts, kit request system, etc. Or will there be some major gameplay changes.

I really think the two should be merged, otherwise like others stated PR:V might not have a large enough dedicated playerbase where if they were merged players wouldn't have to choose.

Don't think there will be any major gameplay changes, no. Although you may need to play slightly different, as the weapons are different (no ACOG's or anything, just iron sights), very CQC (jungle awesomeness), etc.

IMO you should incorporate it, then compensate for the overall size increase by removing more older/dated PR maps to a separate pack.

Are there any custom maps in the works for this? or is it mainly EOD maps and a few pr ones combined? Need some huge jungle maps

Indeed, I'd love to see a much larger version of We Were Soldiers.Tim270 wrote:Are there any custom maps in the works for this? or is it mainly EOD maps and a few pr ones combined? Need some huge jungle maps![]()

It might be possible to integrate it while allowing players to choose just what they want to download...
Have an option for PR or PR:V in the main menu, but could only play whatever you have installed.

Well it's actually the exact question being asked by the OPKill001 wrote:Here's another (kind of) related question:
Will PRV be included with BFPR? I'd hate to switch between mods just to play the two, and it'd be nice to play a Vietnam map after a long round of Muttrah...
I'm another staunch supporter of integration between PR & PR:V, such that it does not require a mod 'switch' to play. So yes, muttrah -> awesome Vietnam based fight

yeah, i realy hope it became incorporated, some countrys like Brazil have smaller playerbases and having to decide if we gonna play on the regular PR server or the Vnan Server would split the community, but having both things on the same server would be awesome.=Romagnolo= wrote:I hope they keep the actual PR gameplay and be incorporated to the main PR.
