fallujah insurgent, whats the point

Insurgents are completely useless on fallujah and they have absolutely no chance of winning. I was on USA and always kept my squad together in humvee's and we musta got blown up 5 or 6 times, thats easliy 30-40 tickets we lost not to mention the rest of the team. When the round was over we won 248-0 meaning we only lost 2 tickets all game. If that map ever comes up and I have to be insurgent I am leaving the server as a lot of other people I know do the same. I loved the balance before the patch now with the reduced blast radius of gary, the 200M hideout radius from edge of map, this map has taken a turn for the worse.

Well, maybe the INS team wasn't very good and/or the BLUFOR were really skilled.

How many round results have you saved to back up your statements about the INS being inferior on this map? I'm asking because I have seen them do fine on that map on several ocasions.

You sure do like to ***** a lot, both in-game and on these forums, eh?

Anyways, you did lose more than two tickets, because you gain 25 for every cache destroyed, which would put you well over 300 tickets if you had only lost two tickets the entire round.

As for the restriction on FOB placement, read Zrix's post.

Not every team on every server is well organized, even more so when a team is playing as insurgents, which for some odd reason, they feel compelled to act like complete morons with no regard for their own, or their team's benefit.

I suggest that rather than complain the next time you're on the insurgent team, you should organize a squad to defend your team's caches.

you do realize that you had 248 tickets because you get 10 tickets for every cache destroyed, right?

I do agree that Blufor might have too many tickets atm on quite a few maps, I've always believed that less tickets encourages more care with your life.

Fallujah west is SO easy to win. Get a dedicated AT Squad which basically runs around with RPG and IED trying to kill the apcs.

Get a "Close Cache Defence" squad, basically sitting on top of the cache defending it

Anti-Firebase squad, etc. If you play organized, you win.

You get 25 tickets per cache, it was increased for .9

US starts with 250 tickets
6 caches x 25 tickets = 150 tickets (tickets for last cache are gained after round ends)

If the US is able to destroy caches then they effectively can use up to 400 tickets. That amount of tickets is normally only used for heavy asset AAS maps and doesn't feel right for a 1km map that is still largely infantry based.

Get an organised bomblaying squad with arty ied's, mines and an ammo car (this is essential, people shouldn't use those white cars as transport)

They need to "seal" the cache area, if you want to succesfully defend it. When you do that they will have a problem with getting firesupport into the cache area. If you got 8 Full squads, 2 can defend close on the cache, 2 on the outskirts and 1 other as a supporting squad (Civilian, recon & sapper). Then one squad can make an ambush with arty IEDs. 1 squad will make a good defense in a wide zone near the unconfirmed cache and the one left will transport troops and drive technicals. When you got an organised team like this, they won't be able to get a cache quickly.

Fallujah did get alittle more easy for the US side.

The route of the problem is simple. A squad wiped out costs 6 tickets. You can repeat that about 50 or so times in a match provided armour losses arn't high. If three squads working together can take out a cache in 1 or 2 attacks then they can't lose.

I don't see fallujah being massively imbalanced but it is quite favourable to the US side.

Last game I played on Fallujah had a good Insurgent team and a good BluFor team - Insurgents completely destroyed the US.

This was after a server crash, and no it was not empty for most of the round, the server was half full pretty much the entire time. The apc I was in working with a single squad pretty much did it.

Im hardely ever seeing insurgents win any maps i say keep the vechiles the same on all the mpas as its nice to move with tanks just lower the tickets alot (but execpt for Laskahr and defintley korengal probaly make the tickets a little bit higher)

I think Fallujah is really tough on the insurgents unless the US is very bold and foolish.

the US mostly need less tickets, but that round is clearly the result of 1 superior team against a weaker team.

I doubt that even the tickets are much of an issue. Perhaps its hard to defend cache locations. I know that the West half of the map is really hard to defend since armor assets cut off supply routes and then the US team just attrition's the region until it is safe to move infantry in.

Personally I'd say that the terrain is what favors the US. If you were to get all city caches the US' chance to win would be much much lower.
