what I would really like to see this map as, would be a desert texture, and the Yamalia undergrowth on most flat parts

the reason for the desert camo is most likely beouse the places where the Norwegians dig in is sand/ dirt areas, or compounds or in the roads where there is no grass

good luck getting the problems sorted out, we need this map, and by the looks of it you have done great so far

ive got the PR lighmap shizzle.
No idea where to put the Stock lightmap things.

And the lightmap 1 square at a time doesnt work.

Speaking of lightmapping, can one of the DEVs upload the latest and greatest LM files? There have been some new statics made available since it was last updated (in Nov 2009).

The stock lightmaps come with a readme telling you where to put them! :roll:

rudd has a theory about the overgrowth causing it

And i found out i had already both the PR and Stock LM in the right place already BOOO.

So much download for nothing :(

When you run light maps, do you click the button that says "no aserts" (or something like that)? I've only used it once, but instead of crashing the LM process when it comes to an error, it actually told me which static had the error then asked if I wanted to continue (if I remember correctly... it's been a few months). Anyway, give that a try if you haven't already.

Allright, i still am not able to Lightmap it, i am able to test it, i figuerd out one of the paint layers are in the wrong size.

So they show up as unicornes and Rainbows on the ground.

Now i need to add these things:

Russian invasion stuff, like tank wrecks, FOBs and maybe a helicopter base.

I'd suggest a tank graveyard as a flag location, or just a map area or something.

If someone could place 5-10 tanks togheter in one file i would do it, i just dont want to have to many objects on a 4k map. But that idea was great!

Ok ive made a Helicopter air base, and a tank graveyard.

Still im abit fuzzed about the graveyard, if it should be bigger, or with "grass"

Tommorow or whatever, i shall make FOBS and see if i will place tank wreck all over :)

now i sleep.

No... Its my map im not goingt o fill it up...

But there will be stuff in it, its just, real life aint that full, infact its quite empty. Its the players that fill the gameworld. So thats what im looking for.
