Was fun! The gameplay and concept was amazing even if it was harsh and unforgiving.
But there were a LOT... of bugs.
Lots of floaters, terrain not matching the sidewalks elevation, lots of non-sense in building placement (especially the afghan_north statics in the city).... Overall the city and certain villages need a lot of work and fixing.
The underground sewer'ish thing was buggy as hell, using the trench_cover like stairs isn't a good idea IMO and you get stuck inside the water pit next to the manhole if you wander trough the tunnel.
I love how the bell_towers were used, not the shacks though, a lot of them were placed in awkard spots. The general mish mash of buildings came out either like win or fail.
Beaches are beautiful, love the rocks and grass... The surroundings of the city is also amazing, the grass is useful and detracts from the Kashan'ish feeling of the map's desertic weather. Dam is okay, though the fighting centered mainly around the mines west of it... But might be AASv3's fault?
It seems like a balanced map asset wise. I'm not sure if planes (for MEC) would do the map any good, would need more testing to know.
Oh and lol at the floating hut floating in the sky, in the middle of the ocean.
Last round was a harsh one, but it was fun. It really felt like Kashan, yet felt like something else.. But we sure lost the feeling Jabal Al Burj had. Can't tell what, maybe the sky?
Thanks TG for the PW night!
