[Model] Pistolet Makarova (PM) [WIP]

i wouldn't recommend doing holes etc by texture on this model. could easily be geometric detail. the weapon could be 8000 tris no problem without affecting the player since current assault rifles are up to this standard. after that a good lod setup should fix things since this model is so simple that it can loose detail very fast without affecting the looks. (although 8000 tris is over the top on such a simple weapon as this)

Wow is the muzzle supposed to be that big? seems like its too wide, like their no material for the barrel

Yeah, the barrel could be more defined from the slide (and a smaller proportion of the nose of the gun), but that can also be addressed via the texture. That is, a thicker stainless ring for the barrel surrounded by the darker slide.

Looking at it again, yeah, the hole should probably be smaller.

Wow great job on this! Hope it gets used for all insurgency factions (and militia). I do suggest reversing the slide grip and making a somewhat smaller barrel.

you can afford to make the piece of metal that safeguards the trigger smoother than it is now. the curved piece of metal that protects the trigger right infront of the handle.

just chamfer the current edges to make it smoother.
