Yeah seeing from other reference pics i've got it's actually closer to the rear

Looks good, thou with that grove you pointed out having a slight difference I would make it smoother on the ends if that makes any scene, give them a chamfer should do it then apply a smoothing group to the left and right sides and the bottom :)

Other than that looking good but again, I would really smooth as your working, leaving it to the end is IMO not a good work flow and often ends up with parts being unsmoothed or not smoothed correctly.

Applied smoothing groups and smoothed out the groove a bit. Also fixed some polys (and polyflows) to improve the smoothing, hehe, thanks Rhino :)

Looking really sweet so far!

Without check any refs so this might be totally wrong you might want to fully smooth the trigger surrounding bit w/e its called since at the moment the sides are on a different group but that's probaly right as it is anyways.

Can't see any huge smoothing issues, thou there is a very small one near the front of the pistol, where you have that indent edge going off onto the end of the pistol there is a slight smoothing issue there you might want to look into?

Other than that, looking awesome! :D

Yep, going from the refs it has an angle there. Here's a pic where you can see it clearly:

It actually should have been more abrubt, but i didn't really see that from the beginning and adjusting the area there to make it look more like it there would require quite some adjusting the polyflow, hehe. It could still be done though if deemed necessary.
And yeah i noticed the one on the front there, i'll try and fix that up. :-)

Edit: yeah Danke, the difference in height between the two vertices there is too big. I'm gonna adjust that, thanks for letting me know :)

Mostly did fixing and adjusting today; i more or less fixed the mentioned smoothing issues as well as some other minor errors i found. I also did some improving on the area behind the trigger guard and around the mag release button, adding and adjusting polys to make it look more like the refs.

Creating a Weapon For Source download - Mod DB

That's a pretty good tut for UV mapping when you come round to it thou for now concentrate on the modelling and you can cross that bridge when you come to it and I'm sure everyone here will help you as much as possible with it :)

I've actually got that tutorial here as part of the Glock one, but thanks anyways. ;)
As soon as i get the model finished i'll dive into that stuff hehe

Finished the slide (the left side at least) and made the sights today. I also applied some symmetry modifiers to see how things would look. :)
Next up will be the hammer and then the right side!
