I'm not sure if its just me, but when flying in excess of 3000 meters and hitting speeds of excess of 2400 units I get a really cool/wierd sound effect that I relate to me breaking BF2s sound barrier.
As this suggestion goes... its 'fluff' that isn't really needed... maybe in the PR:Arma 2 theater where viewdistances are simply huge.

1.
You can go super sonic once you hit a certain altitude and speed in PR with Jets.
2.
But too add a supression effect to jets, the pilot will need alot more flares. No one is going to want a flight over North Village while using all 30 flares to be sure no SAMs have a lock.
3.
Yes it would be cool

No. Unrealistic. The end.
Jk. I love it when a good idea comes around, but it has a 75% chance or so of being shot down by the devs as "unrealistic" (after saying headshot kills were unrealistic, I no longer have faith in them).

I believe that the effect is there as a joke, not so much a realistic addition.
Locked.
