Furthermore, I do believe having to wait 8 seconds to get off a shot to be detrimental to game-play as I want to kill something and not simply stare at it, simply hoping that my patient waiting will pay off, to SIMPLY BE PISSED OFF!!!

Also I find it rather ironic that the amount of time one has to ride a bull to win in a rodeo competition, is the same amount of time one has to do absolutely nothing to get a kill. (It is quite exciting though when the damn thing works)

So, the eight second wait for deviation settle on these weapons will henceforth be referred to as "The Ride" or "The Bull Ride" or more accurately "BULL!"

These kits are useless. They may be useful to some (hackers) but for me, the most important and only important person to me, these kits are utterly and without the most infinitesimal unit of measurement with which one could measure doubt useless.
I think you are moving your mouse right before you shoot... mouse movement actually increases deviation... you have to stop moving the mouse for a bit to shoot accurately.

No twitch shooting with DMR...

You can start shooting with normal mode and switch to Deployed mode later (there is a reason that getting the gun out in deployed mode takes less time than it did for normal mode).

ok, to be fair, when I miss it is usually because of a great difference in elevation. But why should this be a factor in game and in terms of gameplay? I have cross-hairs on the guy's head and I want to shoot him in said head.

Is there bullet drop in PR before 600 meters and does its presence or absence affect a shot that reaches across two different elevations?

Think of shooting like firing a catapult, but at super-high speed.

The round doesn't go straight, then coast off. Depending on how the weapon is set up, and which weapon you are using, that is.

IIRC, all Assault Rifles (ak, m4, etc) are 0'd at 300m (fast fact, G3 is zeroed at 350m). so at 300m, the round will hit roughly on the dot.

PR has realistic ballistics, as far as the engine can take it though. Try using a weapon with a scope, such as M16 with acog, on a CO-OP server by yourself, locally. Practice aiming, and you'll do fine.

Now, for automatic rifleman, the "8 second rule" is placed to counterbalance the fact that you can deploy basically anywhere. Such as standing up in the middle of a field. In real life, you wouldn't be defending from the middle of a field, well not with much luck anyway ;) . Therefor, they decided it would be best for the Auto Rifleman to have a long wait time to be settled for the DEPLOYED auto rifleman.

I think what should be done, is that After 5-15 shots of the auto rifleman, it should start to have per-shot deviation, like every other weapon in the game. This will easily balance the auto rifleman out, and provide a more realistic choice for using the weapon.

Is this true?
Soooo aiming makes you less accurate? If true that is the most stuipid thing iv heard in awile.
Hell I can 180 spin and hit a clockface dead center with a pelet gun when i was 12 ffs let alone 1cm adjustments by a trianed soldier with a very accurate gun.

Im pretty sure its only wsad movments though I refuse to belive the devs are that thick.

Besides I use the ambush method to kill mostly as my reaction speed sucks so i wouldnt notice. hence why I play PR (well not anymore) not CCS.
Made this thread awile ago so guess we will see what the new version changes for no reason.

Try this: take a sniper rifle, settle for 8 seconds, move mouse wildly and instantly point at a target and fire.

This is to prevent twitch shooting... I think. Anyway, it happens with deployed SAW as well.
