Lazing from Choppers/UAVs
I've heard its fixed in the new patch but I haven't seen any videos or anything that shows the new system....
Is it true that Lazing from a chopper is now practical?
Also does that impact distance lazing from a GLTD on moving vehicles? Because right now you have to lead them depending on distance for the Laze to Stick.

And chopper lasers?
Currently they are pretty ... useless.
But maybe things gonna improve with TI. ^^

Re: Lazing from Choppers/UAVs
Lazing anything you want with accuracy from scout helicopters and the UAV is extremely easy now (you no longer need to lead your target unless ofcourse the target itself is moving; the laze will go where you clicked no matter what your velocity).
There will be more details in the changelog.

Then how would you balance "air force"?

What do you mean? You still need people who can fly and live, and that's the hard part.

It's not like the air assets suddenly are great at being able to take out whatever it sees. The A-10 still will lack FLIR, the attack helos will still require nerves of steel to take out armor with LG missiles.WhatMan wrote:wait what?

Not practical, because the lase follows your reticle until it hits the marker, which makes it inaccurate.Expatriate Gamer wrote:I've heard its fixed in the new patch but I haven't seen any videos or anything that shows the new system....

Apparently now the lase homes onto where you last clicked it.Dev1200 wrote:Not practical, because the lase follows your reticle until it hits the marker, which makes it inaccurate.
Now just to make the LG mode do that...
