You model, code, animate, and put the thing in-game and it may be added to PR. We are not going to make a new model for something that is not very important. There are many other things that are higher in priority than replacing the wrench.

Yes I've heard this response many times before on suggestion threads, and as always I go to the tutorials section, get the mod toolkit, set it up for PR, only to have the editor CTD.
BTW I'm out of the modelling thing now, after 5 years I decided I couldn't pursue it any more unless I decided to spend heaps of money on proper software like 3dsmax or maya.
I do understand your reasoning in saying do it yourself, but making a whole weapon system from scratch can be very difficult and takes time, which as the devs had said themselves, is in short supply.
A fair point crazy, but PR for me is a hobby, not a living.
Back on topic, if nobody is willing/able to make the change, what's wrong with removing it? Combat engineers are rare on the PR battlefield and the vehicle repair points are used even if there is an engineer free because of lack of communication (The mechanic can't type in chat every minute that he's available)

This smells like a suggestion and since the relevant sections are locked, so is this.

"I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed, for 12 hours. When it was all over, I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory. Someday this war's gonna end... "
