Why do people hate jets?

I LOVE the jets, im probably the biggest jet whore here haha, I think the reasons people hate them is because you have bad pilots who are in them, and they suck in them, will just fly around or near the deck, and try to be cool.

Nothing more satisfying than dropping a bomb on a target and having the entire team go "THANK YOU"

I hate them, they feel really cramped and near useless.

The 3 - 5 people devoted to using a jet squad would do better as infantry.

I like the jets. The problem is that I cant ever get into one, because people rage click to create the jet squad quicker than me all the time and lock it, just like Kiowa squads these days. Most of the time I join a map that is already in progress and not in start of the round, so there is already a jet squad. I only flew twice in a live full server in my 2 years of playing PR.

Sorry for posting again but I believe that it's the pilots that try to take command of the aircraft, then they blow up over and over again, then everyone gets mad at the jets fault and hates the jet. When it was the pilot.

This also can work vise versa, A team with two really great pilots, makes the other team hates the jets since their armor squads get wiped out. Then they want the jets to be nerfed to suck. Reason why tanks get blown up by aircraft is because they do NOT have AA support near them.

The Cover chain as I like to call it, works well

AA covers tanks, tanks destroy other tanks and AA
Fighter Jet covers Attack airfraft, attack protects other tanks should their armor need support
Squad members protect their squad leader, and vise versa
Attack Helicopters and little helos protect the Infantry
APCs cover INF

If you have the chain, you will win. Plain and simple. No AA support, the jets WILL fail. Bad pilots, probably will fail as well.

Aircraft are a necessary part of realistic warfare, and I for one enjoy the fact that the thing delivering a 500 pound package is able to be shot down.

I love Jets, But the thing is, If you didn't get a Jet in the Jets maps (Especially Kashan) You will have to play as infantry which sucks since the map is very big...
Also, When Jets are up, You will rarely find a Transport chopper up, usually they are shot down by jets...

Maps are just too small to use them realisticly. I prefer alternative versions whit ATK helis.

this, the maps are only 4x4 KM squared, this is a tiny space for jets even with the edge of the maps flyable there is still to small a space, Jet's should be moved to ArmA2 R and removed from BF2 R, attack heli'sare the only things close to being realistic.
