Can't wait to play as the French, no reason to focus on the kits because they will anyway be dropped :P

Map looks awesome! :)

Happy New Year All!

yes -> Secret
Nax wrote:NAlso; transport choppers on a jungle map? :O

Finally, I hope there are a few "landmarks" implemented into the quadrants that are just jungle. It seems like the entire top left corner of the map is just a bunch of trees. I still have nightmares of running through the endless jungles of Tad Sae. While jungle combat is cool, a small village or some abandon wrecks or a large hill allows for more interesting gameplay overall.
the frenchs use choppers in reallife also in the jungle because you cant reach the most places on wheels

also i will remove some parts of the map from the game because i need to reduce the count overgrowthobjects

there will be boats

cheers

nice, like that Jungle fever map a few versions ago, but nicer.

the best placeholder fraction would be Vietnam era USMC vs NVA :D

I think that is what the hints may be going to, a Vietnam map before the French are finished.

dtacs wrote:Good to know. I'm not talking mega OGT thick, just thick enough so there is decent cover from thermals, similar to Wanda Shan but with some more variation in the overgrowth lower to the ground.

Have you thought of a placeholder for the French before they're finished?
From testing with Rudd, that was the plan, I know Andy will go his own way, but it's a delicate balance between performance and excellent cover.

Looks great mate, can we have GB as placeholders before the french pweeaaaase? I mean we're sharing carriers now, so we may as well share maps :p

Awesome. Jungle maps are the best environment to fight for me and I really miss OGT and Tad Sae just because of that. 4km of jungle, can't wait! :o

a good start of the new year! great looking map, I especially like the creative use of the chinese low walls :)
interesting to see the french fighting the chinese, bullpup vs bullpup.

so haute, on another note, the french will be using molotov teddybears or german winterclothing?

Strait from ModDB:

And now, in honor of the holiday season, today we are showing off the German player models, complete with their new winter clothing for the European snows.

We're getting snow maps all year around? :D

OT, Awesome map! Love maps like this and Op. Barracuda and OGT etc.

Damn it, it will just be about soldiers and kits nothing else :P

Nice to see that you appreciate Andy's efforts on this map. He has really done a huge work on the promising map Rudd did. ;)

The minimap is nice and all. But i sadly dont see much jungle in this map... Only some trees and terrain.

Jungle is jungle, its retardedly packed with undergrowth and bushes and whatnot, wich this map lacks. Same with the frist snow map. Only trees and ground.

But village in the centre is very nice!
