It's lagging so hard for me..
Normally the FPS isn't too good, but playable.
Now it's insane, an average of 20 fps, if I'm lucky (silent eagle), and I've got a HD4870 512MB, Quadcore Phenom 2 x4 920, with 4 GB RAM. But anyhow, upgrading the playercount was my bigh wish ^^.. Great job!

I just got a boner............................not I haven't. Nice to see this happening? But why no 1KM maps, 64vs64 on Fallujah seems so much fun! Same things for all the other Iraqi/Afghanistan INS maps (No Iron Ridge!)

Test completed for now. We are back to normal config with working voip, admintools etc.
Thanks to everybody on the server.

We couldnt handle 128p without being able to kick/ban people. Stay tuned in the future ;)

So how did the first test go?

I mean like - from R-DEV side. A quick review on the 1st post would be useful.

surprisingly well performance wise. hard to tell if i was getting more lag because it was on a german server. but it was pretty good as is so im guessing it would be great on low ping.

The ping was just perfect, some FPS drops when lookin at teh center of the map where all the pew pew is tho. So glad I was there.

I'm guessing i'm going to lag like hell if i get on one of these maps... both graphically and on the network... my internet isn't great here...

Would it take a top end desktop to be able to play on these servers? I've got a pretty decent laptop i can play PR on but i'm worried that i couldn't join these rounds...

I noticed a small FPS drop, nothing major. Ping was perfect all the time.

Ping was okey but FPS dropped to 20-25 at least in Silent Eagle. Q6600, GTX460, 4GB 800Mhz DDR2. Some crappy shots from the test here.

Yeah but with much harsher solider lods it definitely has potential.

Any word on the bandwidth increase? Probably was not a huge consideration when they were writing the netcode for bf2 but I am sure it would be pretty dam hefty with 128.

Actually, the BF2 Alpha version had 128 player limit and 8 man squads, so i doubt it.

They removed it for a reason... Though with some luck and super skills we might get this to work completely.

On Kashan desert i had 50 fps with 128 players wherever i look but on the village map (germans vs russians) when i look at the center where the pew pew is my fps drops to 15... the ping is great anyways.
