is the problem really like recording it in all the different voices? Im sure people from the community of different languages or people in the PR crew would be glad to send in voice commands if that really IS the problem....

I think the problem is to make it sound similar to what is already recorded. Have no idea if the DEVs can bring back the people that did the voices just for that.tntkid22 wrote:is the problem really like recording it in all the different voices? But with all honesty, speaking through in-game VOIP has a similar delay as bringing the commo rose...or so I think.
Add "Teabag" with a hysterical voice while we're at it.

That still won't change the delay issue. If it's a mine in the road not even a 2 sec fast commo rose response from the spotter will help. A reaction of the sort will certainly take more than that, heck, I even bet everyone would be shred to pieces before the spotter could press the button.goguapsy wrote:But what if the blue guy is not using Mumble?
Also, if you're attempting to warn a blue guy about enemy in close range, then screaming out "Stop!" would be a dumb thing to do. Most of the commo rose speech are nothing but useless while in-game (even though amusing and ofc absolutely needed when using the radio). Only the medic call does it job when the medic can't find the fallen members or the occasional Sorry when teamhurting. That's it.
None of this is an issue in servers that promote or oblige the use of Mumble. There is no better inter-squad comms than that.

Oh, sorry I wasn't specific - I meant "Clear!". You have "enemy spotted" to warn a blue guy (I think the SL should be able to say that with left click on the "Enemy Spotted". Right click = map marker).
