Why cant u guys leave the server on and let people try it out, like you do in forgotten hope 2 mod and just restart and password it when you want to do tests.

OMG, THIS!!

But I think that, say, if the server crashed, well, too bad?
Guys, when a new player comes, just answer his question and go on your merry way, instead of going berserk! It's THAT simple! :D

It went much better this time. And you can tell good admins are very important, the few rounds we played before the official testing started were very disorganized compared to those played after.

If it crashes it crashes, guess people will have to wait until they restart the server again. They have tested it enough times to know which pings are tolerable so make rules to kick any1 who goes past limit.

It has yet to crash on the other mod forgotten hope 2, it was on whole weekend and is still up right now, so go join it people if you wanna experience more than 120 players...that mod dies when all the Europeans players go to sleep so need more Americans players on it...

I agree with the general sentiment that it can be difficult to admin. It seemed like everyone was just putsing around, but to be fair it's not meant to be a game its just a test.

At times it was laggy (not every map), but only on one map.

I think the lack of transport can be a problem, but something that can easily be addressed.

Other than that everything worked great. Good work guys, keep it up!

I've had a particularly laggy game today - not sure whether or not it was because of my house internet being particularly **** today but either way, it was laggy. Rocking a ping of around 325 or so for the most part as opposed to 70 odd.

Crashed too with a message i've never seen before:

memory.dll: chunkPools::free fails, should not come here!

any idea what this means?

Reason: changed ping rate from 125 to 325 - typo on first go around

I have never seen that error message... but dude, 125 ping? Damn! How did you manage to play with that?

Bear in mind i was only seeing 325 when it stopped jumping around enough for the TAB key to register, so i'm guessing maybe around 700?

Sorry i didn't change it to 325, i guess i missed it after i hit post... my bad.

Erm what? I think these people are talking about lag issues, maybe you want to post in the server feedback thread?

In Norway we recycle everything. Compared to Ireland where People just dont care since the Industrial Revolution, thats why it always rains in Ireland.
