There are plenty of places for the Chinook to land, open areas all over the map, heck ive even landed dropped off troops while underfire from tanks and made it out fine, infantry got to their objective as well.

Agreed, the screenshots were MUCH brighter than the current map. The sun and sky brightness doesn't really reflect how dark the atmosphere is, not to say its a bad map though, definitely my second favorite.Excavus wrote:I dislike the lighting on this map, just saying. Camoflauge works very well on the map due to the brightness, especially the dark color of the Abrams.

I think it was not a perfect idea to substitude US Forces to German Army, the map was allright as well..

It was not a perfect idea what so ever, MIG VS the Eurofighter?? your kidding me... The second i see him i lose him. I need to use my after burner just to catch up to the fu**er when hes cruising withouth afterburner... wth man?!?!

The map is great. Definitely one of my favorites. Just fix the german AT and it'll be perfect.

We played it last night on PRTA.
The HAT/LAT issues....
The Russian armour spawn is so close to the edge of the map it often disconnects mumble, maybe German too IDK.
Both the German and Russian armour spawns are so far away you are loathe to spawn there to see if any armour is available, though I can see the need to balance the armour spawns because of the German need to cap Airport.
Would it be an improvement to have a 'normal' main for the Germans and both teams armour in main?

Balance with flags and vehicles not good how(v0.95)
Bring back powerplant to Russians or remove German heavy vehicles at start.Situation - Germans block powerplant,before RUS side cap it,thats why they easy capping all flags and except for missile silo.After it - start pretty boring fighting.
It was my favorite map,when US playing here,fighting in village was awesome.Bring back fighting in village.

Assets are pretty much balanced apart from the MiG<Eurofighter Typhoon<Tornado issue. Team composition is the deciding factor in any round. If both sides are lacking defense then flag hopping occurs. If one side lacks defense then their enemies always outcap them.

(bump) I think that the Ramiel/Fallujah loading theme doesn't fit the map. Maybe the Fools road or Iron ridge would fit better.
