I continually use PRSPY since its important to support PR projects, however its ladled with issues which sends me more toward Game Monitor or other server monitoring sights. These include:
'Update lag' of days at a time, displaying old server data and making players launch PR only to find that the server information wasn't accurate at all.
Inability to right-click to open multiple servers at a time, the ergonomics just don't make sense. I want multiple windows and overall control, not a single one or having to make multiple iterations from my bookmarks.
Refresh button doesn't work
Although GeZe is retired, is there going to be any further development of PRSPY or can we pretty much say its dead?
ps. If a Mod could also add a 'Do you use PRSPY?' poll with yes/no/occasionally answers, thanks.
I use PRSPY only when Im not sure if i want to play PR, and its faster than start PR just to check what servers are there to play on.
A nice feature i would like to see is if it could somehow display ping i have to dispayed servers.
I know its somehow dificult to do this, but it would help to decide wether some server is in may ping rate or not.
It always seemed pretty reliable to me tbh. I use it whenever I'm looking for a server specifically for me and clan mates to join to ensure we can join one team without completely unbalancing the game.

The "update lag of days at a time" is not an issue with PRSPY, it is an issue with the scripts that get the data from GameSpy and create the data file that PRSPY reads. If those scripts die (as they do for some unknown to me reason on a rare occasion) then the data becomes stale. To fix this you will want to ask the people who maintain those scripts, I don't know anything about them.
Regarding the multiple windows for different servers, I am not exactly sure what you mean. Do you want to be able to open a new tab for a server in PRSPY, or open multiple servers in PR?
As for the refresh button, yes it doesn't do anything. If you want to refresh the data, click the PRSPY logo, and that will reload the page. This should be fixed and is trivial to do so, but I don't have access.
Also, it could show co-op servers, and did so initially, but they were removed because having the bots on there was confusing to players searching for other people.
Showing ping to servers would be hard, because the data is created at a single point on a web server, and it knows nothing about you or your location.

Do you know if the servers are automated or there is human input in order to publicize them?

Open different tabs for different servers - IE NWA, TG, UKWF etc.

Why would PRSpy show bots?
Bots don't appear on the in game server browser, Game-monitor.com or Gametracker.com. They only have the amount of players and total playercount displayed.
I always start my game with PR-Spy. Unless i wanted to play coop because i dont think it shows up. Never gave me any problems and it also skips the intro and log-in.
One thing i thought was strange, when I'm on the buddy list and click back on my browser it always goes to the server list. You have to click back three times to actually go back.
The prspy scripts run on the same dedicated server that the PR Community Mumble is on. Sometimes it gets reset or shutdown for maintenance, so there's some interruption every now and then. It's also updated every 5 min which is good enough.
Something that shows more clearly that the information is stale would be cool.
