I run Vista(Bad, IK) professional 64 bit on this
Manufacturer:
Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.
Processor:
AMD Phenom(tm) 9950 Quad-Core Processor (4 CPUs), ~2.6GHz
Memory:
3326MB RAM
Hard Drive:
248 GB
Video Card:
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260
Monitor:
Dell 2005FPW (Analog)
Sound Card:
Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio)
My problems come in two types; crashes/freezes and start up issues.
CTD-They occur when certain maps load, such as Iron Eagle or what ever its called( I stay away), when I try to delete profiles, and often in the middle of gameplay. I run it on custom settings with the display being on 1024X768@60Hz, geometry, terrain, effects, and texture all being on high.
Freezes-These occur when large amounts of gunfire/action occur in tight spaces. This usually results in the soundclip repeating and the computer needing to be restarted(oh boy, start up issues galore). This may be due to my graphic settings, but I feel as if my computer should be able to power the settings it runs.
Restarts-Occurs in the middle of games for no apparent reason. I cant really give more info than that because I havent noticed a pattern.
Start Up Issues(Less concerning right now)-When I power up the computer, only the fans run the majority of the time. I have to wait 10-15 minutes before turning it off and trying again. There are at least 4 fans that run, so I dont believe heating is the issue(what do I know). I was hoping someone would have some insight to these issues.
Thanks.
