Not really. Finding the cache is the easy part. It's destroying the thing that's difficult.... Come on man were just having a little fun with you. It's damn obvious that the DEVS thought about exactly what you just posted... They're the ones creating PR, not you, not me. What they say goes.vistamaster01 wrote:I am not a retard, nor I am saying that this is gonna ruin the mod, damnit!!
You can be realy harsh, just saying that the insurgents are gonna start to loose a LOT of maches...

insurgents already lose lots of matches... as its easy as hell for blufor already. i know everywhere the cache can spawn
atleast its going to be 200 instead of 400 meters for a new cache. makes me have to search a grand total of like 2 more spots along the way for each unknown... the uav is added help for blufor.
they should make the known intel marker radius larger again also. for mortar spam alone.
on a side note, YAY new insurgency map! sorta.
somebody is still at "OMG" status. https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f10-pr ... level.html

I can tell you that the UAV is NOT critical to blufor success. You still have to get to the cache to destroy it.

you are a bitvistamaster01 wrote:I am not in OMG status lol, stop saying that!!!
there are enough limitations on teh UAV to keep it balanced, not to mention that it actually needs a commander to be used
also we took the bad cache report thread very seriously and did our best to identify bad caches and move/delete them
coupled with a few other tweaks/changes that were done I have no fears regarding the UAV on insurgency.
If anything, you can use the UAV to your advantage as insurgents by manipulating Blufor, fake caches will work even better with UAVs imo.
You can also trick blufor in to using their UAVs in bad places by attacking them and then retreating guerilla style
the UAV is going to be far more powerful on combined arms maps imo

If you didnt know, the next version of PR includes UAVs, a commander can just request an UAV and then, he can easily know were the cache is!!
I hope a dev reads this...![]()

don't worry Vista, its all in good humour
its traditional that before release someone makes a doomsday post, and then everyone makes fun of it
If you really are super duper worried, we'll be watching the feedback closely after release and if teh UAV is too OP, it'll get modified until its not, or another gameplay element will be changed to compensate.
However I have faith that will not be required.

Reminds me of "Zomg we will all die in a rain of moartars".
6 months later.
"Hello. Somebody wants to crew mortars with me? They are epically effective. Yello?"

Exactly, no hard part finding the cache, the true hard part is to get your team to actually get them to listen you that there is a cacheMaverick wrote:Not really. Finding the cache is the easy part. Whatever... I still love playing as Insurgent derka derkas, win or lose. It all really depends who you're playing with on Insurgents and how well they play and use the few assets given to them. Under the right circumstances they can be quite dangerous, UAV or not.

Ask more information from your local insurgent commander.
