Re: Project Normandy (ww2 event/addon)
You can't just paste a different turret on it, it has to be modelled, textured, etc. If you are even allowed to use the max scene.
And as I said, I can't just grab XWW2 stuff without permission.

Re: Project Normandy (ww2 event/addon)
Here's a little preview of vehicles you might see in Project Normandy. I say "might" because not all are featured on the map right now.
And before people go "this and that vehicle wasn't used or blabla", get me the correct models and I'll put it in. I have stated from the beginning this addon is not 100% authentic (mainly because of the vehicles), so we have to give or take here and there. If you still don't like it, here's your refund

I have some camo-textures in my files, so will add them to the mod. Don't have 'em for all vehicles, so have asked BGF if they still have the PSD-files. If not... we'll have to come up with a solution for it.

Looks really good, will be lots of funning driving around with those jeeps
You should definately ask xww2 for the c47 and the sherman though. Looking great so far. Wonder if this will have Pr like anims for inf weapons? Slower than usual but very realistic?

The weapons are using PR's 3p animations. The 1p animations aren't bad at all, but not as detailed as PR's ones. It's mostly reload animations that are more vanilla-ish.

Re: Project Normandy (ww2 event/addon)
Will we see realistic armor engagements like the stock Sherman not being able to engage a panther or tiger from the front and needing to flank around and engage from the rear?

Hello,'[R-DEV wrote:AfterDune;1613352']Thought about it, but no, there would be a lot of destroyable objects then. Instead, it's as if others have done that for you already. There are a bunch of spots that have blown up razorwire and such. And I placed static bangalores there.
They're not really authentic or anything, but I thought it was a nice touch
I made an authentic version.
It will require export.
If you are interested in using it PM me with contact details.

Looks nice and much better than my version
.
Could you export that crate, as well as a single bangalore?

You mean a single 3p static or 1P weapon?[R-DEV]AfterDune wrote: as well as a single bangalore?

A single 3p static.
But if it's no problem to export it as a weapon as well, I'd say why not?

Re: Project Normandy (ww2 event/addon)
Just to clear something up... is this the thread to watch for updates on Project Normandy?
I have been dreaming of FH2 statics and maps with PR teamplay thrown in. The best of both mods really. I understand they are completely different but I can dream can't I?
