Life would be so much better if people were like Rudd and Spec at all times: someone asks a question, just answer it...

You know, if someone goes and asks the teacher "What is this?", the teacher doesn't respond "RTFB!". They "gladly" explain the thing. Seriously, I read the manual and still didn't understand how the insurgent pick-ups worked... I asked in-game (that was back in .8 or .7 I think). Answers:

"RTFM!"
"READ THE MANUAL!"
"NOOBREED The manUal!"
"Just go to the cache or at main, there should be some kits lying on the ground."
"Noob!"

Come on guys! Don't RTFM anyone. Only on really rare occasions have I observed that RTFM ACTUALLY was coherent with the given scenario. Once or twice. And I've been here for a while.

Yeah that's why I don't play PR anymore :(
Guys, when a new player comes, just answer his question and go on your merry way, instead of going berserk! It's THAT simple! :D

anyway, I'm always surprised to see pages of same comments and trolling in response to questions like these, while in principle only one person should be needed to point the new guy to the manual. maybe next time?
Correct, I apologize to Spec for this, as it was only my inability to fully read his post  .

guys if you have a problem with someone's post, just click moderating options and report it and it will be dealt with in a professional and timely manner

don't derail threads about how other people were behaving boorishly

Let the thread continue if it has merit, or die if it has served its purpose.

This brings me to another point, since COD has become the disease of the gaming industry, it looks like many of the PR memebers have been infested too. Everyone just keeps pumping COD jokes around thinking hes cool :D

To mention few of the posters here: Dev1200, Maverick and Spec. Congratulations guys, you have been nominated for the troll of the year award, this is your day boys.

Trolling a troll doesn't belong in my troll-book Mr.Troll.

Sigh...

And another perfectly innocent thread dies.

I'm closing this due to the inability of many to avoid posting pointless and unhelpful posts. I believe the OPs questions has been successfully answered, however, so thank you to those who were helpful.

"I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed, for 12 hours. When it was all over, I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory. Someday this war's gonna end... "
