For skirmish mode, it's best to have more than one flag (not counting the spawn locations). Three or five is generally best. As for area, it really depends but no larger than 1km or else it defeats the purpose of quick, skirmish-like action. Remember there are no vehicles and no FOBs can be placed, so you don't want them walking too far.

On a side note with no ground being at or below 0 do you have any idea why my crates are not working properly?

Might have misinterpreted what I was saying. Not switch the white lights to orange lights, just spread out different colors.
I do not fully understand the mechanics behind the lights, but if you could have half of them orange and half of them white and spread out among the village, I think it would be a little more realistic, thus bringing in a little more immersion.
Like I said when strolling down a street, not everyone's front door light is orange, some are white, all depending on the light bulb.

Need good mini map but don't have photoshop.
Id also like a working black night skybox so the fog fits better, just got to find out.
mixed around the lights, adjusted light settings/fog/skybox. I have to say I like this look best.

If you want a black skybox that you could use, try making one in a program called Vue. It's a sky genesis program. e-on software - Solutions for Natural 3D Environments You could probably try it out and stuff.
But if you want a truly amazing skybox make it yourself.
Also: I find it weird that the orange lights don't cast any light anywhere except the immediate 2 foot circle around the light. Any way that we can change that? Maybe in code or something. If you want, I could do the minimap for you once you get the entire map done enough for an Alpha release

The asset layout suggested by stealthgato seems good to me aswell.
Especially no TOW-vehicle on INF layer. Blufor has two TOWs to defend/attack the rusty talibs
Since I assume you are taking the usual statics for the airport part of your map (the actual airport building; hangars; (enterable) airplanes; etc.) me and my buddy are really looking forward to this as we would love to have a Skirmish over the Airport in Burning Sands one day and this map could be a "real map" with the feel of that. Especially on some locations...
I really hope you may finish this map so that all your work doesn't end in the dumpster like all the scrapped maps we can find here on the forums...!
