Phrasebook for character speech
Is there a phrase guide or phrasebook for all of the different languages in PR? I hear Arabic, Hebrew, Russian, Pashto (I think) but I have no clue if people are asking for rides, ammo, or medic.

. . . . well . . if you play enough you sort of get used to the dialogue. you might not have ANY FRIGGEN idea whats actually being said but you get the basic gist. it can get a bit weird and confusing for insurgents team though because . . the "placing mine" dialogue is used for other things as well sooo to answer your question.
NO there is no such thing really. just play the game and get used to what your player says when you click on "i need a ride" or "i need a medic" it just takes personal experience

You can change them all to english.
But after a while, you should at least remember what each phrase sound like.

No there is no such phrasebook
you can listen to all of them in the gamefiles or in-game
After playing a little you can recognize most of them, especially the most important ones like medic calls. If you want your message go through though you won't be using commo rose anyway, but Mumble instead or if you really have to VOIP or chat.

If you've been playing VBF2 since the start(even the expansion pack and booster packs, back when stuff used to be good) you basically already know al lthe languages and what is spoken, except for the new factions: Russian, IDF, Militia lol

Kumbula and Shashka is all you need to know. Then again, I might need to know how to actually write it, since I'm pretty sure I wrote both words wrong!

How cool would it be if everyone would be speaking the language of their faction in mumble and text, and everyone would understand it.
Just play the game and get used to it. You will notice the call mainly by listening to the tone of it.

Ye, you spelled Shashka wrong. It needs about 20 more A's and several exclamation marks.Nixy23 wrote:Kumbula and Shashka is all you need to know. Then again, I might need to know how to actually write it, since I'm pretty sure I wrote both words wrong!

You'll almost never need to use the commo rose (so BF2v) in Mumble servers (well, if you're basic inf that is).
