i tried 28000 fieldovergrowth objects + 37000 overgrowth objects and my fps dropped to 12 ...
so you better stay under 15000 fieldobjects just to be safe ;)

Whew. In the long term, custom overgrowth statics may be the only saving grace for this project.

Hey thats pretty good :D

however I'd use a different field grid, the reason is that particular grid is quite performance heavy.

Looking good, however in comparison to the reference pic it looks a bit too bright, similar to Dragon Valley. I'd suggest darkening the undergrowth and clustering the trees more so there is air cover as well.

This map has real promise mate :)

I'l agree, this has shaped up to be a beautiful map. Please don't mess with the skybox/fog levels, it's rather pretty as it is.

Will the field grid be that performance heavy with the level of fog he has, Rudd? If you're only seeing 2-3 fields at a time.

Hey since you cant decide what Country to put, how about all USMC,US Army, and canadians

Since they have the same speech for all of them you can out them on diffrent layers. im sure that would make people happy.

But hey its my Opinion.
