I think it is a slight bit too dark, but of course this adds a lot to immersion. I had a very nice time playing this on Tactical Gamer, despite of a lot of lag that seemed to be server side.

In my opinion is the ground texture a bit to bright.

Just a little bit darker would be good.
Enemys would still be visible without NVG's.

ground itself should be darker, looks bit too bright like some shadows would be missing..

maybe it could be better with adjusting the settings but imo it's looking pretty athmospheric atm.

As for now, the lighting is fine. However, if you can get the NVGs to work properly, I would like to see the map darker.

Is it not possible to change the thermal view of tanks (the green ones) so that there is no heat sync and then you got night vision ?
(for infantry)

I said too bright, but only by a little bit.

Need option 4 in this poll, it's too bright and too dark.
The ground, especially the grass undergrowth, is too bright. The yellowish grass is especially too bright, moonlight never makes grass look yellow, it makes the whole map look surreal.
The trees, in comparison are close enough to realistic on a full moon, but if you darken the grass, you might have to slightly lighten the trees.

Not sure on this exactly (I've havent looked into night lighting) but I believe the ground is too bright due to the engine limitations (probably the reason the night maps in SF were pitch black).LITOralis.nMd wrote:Need option 4 in this poll, it's too bright and too dark.

Unless someone makes a completely new shader...

Darked the trees and the ground perhaps, but otherwise it is great!

Re: Moonlight settings on Tad Sae Offensive
Thanks for everyone's feedback. Although the majority said it's fine the way it is, there were quite a few votes for it being too bright (and almost none for being too dark) so I decided to darken the ground and trees just a bit more. I've also replaced the sky with a higher resolution one that VapoMan helped make.
Here is the before and after.
Thanks again for being a part of the improvements.
