IMO Intel CPU ftw (I got i7 2600k, I know, a bit too much money spent -.-) and NVidia GPU! Got a GTX 570, I think bit too expensive for ur plans... btw a 310M (512 MB) workes/worked fine on BF2 PR on Laptop...
