[?] Attaching new weapon to a map

Post by A.Finest »

Greetings PR Community Modders!

So I was gonna attach a weapon from the good old vBF2 onto a PR map. As I have a few requests from a few guys, but got no idea how to do this..

I want to attach the M95 from vbf2 into PR. I know its been in PR before. Idk if there will be any animation errors due to different player models etc.. But oh well.

So if I could get a community modd to kindly describe how I would get this done.

Thank you

Regards,

I think I have an idea of what you have to do. I pretty sure it involves the editor but while lookin through some of my mods in my mods folder I found this.

rem [ObjectSpawnerTemplate: Shoreside_Estates_RU_US_Fishinghut]
ObjectTemplate.create ObjectSpawner Shoreside_Estates_RU_US_Fishinghut
ObjectTemplate.activeSafe ObjectSpawner Shoreside_Estates_RU_US_Fishinghut
ObjectTemplate.modifiedByUser "Administrator"
ObjectTemplate.isNotSaveable 1
ObjectTemplate.hasMobilePhysics 0
ObjectTemplate.setObjectTemplate 1 PICKUP_AK74U_Assault
ObjectTemplate.setObjectTemplate 2 PICKUP_M4_Assault

Hope this points you in the right direction.

Yeah I know I gotta add the code for it into the "GamePlayObjects.con" file

But how would I go around mounting this to the map it self etc.. So the weapon it self is fixed up with the map it self.. So I dont have to backup PR and add this into the PR Objects etc..

you could have had a look to the tutorials section. A lot of DEVs spent time creating tutorials for moments like this but no one is having a look at it ...
