And what else is important to successfully start modelling for example the scope for the FN FAL ("FM FAL" is wrong I guess, as written in the Falklands-thread, Rhino... FM is radio xD xD
Cheers, Daniel

As Adriaan said, the FM FAL is the Argentine made FN FAL since the Argentine FALs were produced by Fabricaciones Militares (FM).[R-DEV]Adriaan wrote:FM FAL is an Argentinian made FAL btw.
You'll need to import your max 2012 files into max 9, by exporting it to a format like .obj, .3ds, etc. and check/fix errors (might take some experimenting to see which one works best, I'm not sure). Then use the BF2 tools from within max 9 as usual.Ratface wrote:Although i've been told you can make newer versions work somehow, for instance I am using max 2012, just hoping that I can find a way to make it work -.-

Ye, what Adriaan said but what he missed out is that soooo many errors are crated in the back porting process, that you will most likely find that the amount of fixing you need to do on the model is almost not worth doing (most people never do the fixing part) and many errors are missed, leading to many problems with the model ingame.[R-DEV]Adriaan wrote:You'll need to import your max 2012 files into max 9, by exporting it to a format like .obj, .3ds, etc. and check/fix errors (might take some experimenting to see which one works best, I'm not sure).
