I mean it's an 8KM map, that is a massive culture shock and there isn't enough vehicles (at least that I noticed from when I played) to accommodate a map of that size. No tanks, little IFVs, not a lot of supply trucks, that kind of thing. If it wants to be a map put into normal rotations, it needs tweaked quite a bit. Also, the night version of Falklands...... whoa....

While yes, the map is 8km by 8kms, technically 16km by 16kms if you include the airbase/carrier, the ground combat is focused into a 3kms by 2kms area, which is around the same as most 4x4km maps. As such from a ground forces POV, its not that much different.
The "lack of vehicles" is based on what was available during the war, that isn't going to change without it not being based on the 1982 war. There are quite a few choppers for the Brits to hitch a ride on, just needs more people to fly them and the Argentines have a lot more ground transport vehicles, as well as a few choppers. But tbh, walking isn't that bad if you try it. You can get to a flag pretty quickly by walking and while yes, its slower phased than normal PR maps if you just walk everywhere, you will find that its a nice change in phase from the regular PR maps.
From the feedback I've got from most people who have given the map a real go, including 40mmRain who totally changed his mind about the map from it being totally shit to totally awesome after giving it a fair try, the amount of ground vehicles etc isn't a problem if you just adapt to the new layout.
The big problem with the map is simply crashes, but so far, still haven't had any real responses from server admins to any crash reports on the Falklands and still not got that much to go on from player crash reports either but mainly need server ones.
