[0.981] Brecourt Assault Hole of Death

Found a large hole on Brecourt large enough to flip over a half-track in K12 kp6.
The half-track was traveling south on the road by the way not coming through the field to the east.

Lol there are lots of holes of death on this map. iirc there is also one at E11kp4 where I counted around 8 bodies (including my own) forever trapped, with all hope lost of ever seeing daylight again, until they spawn at least. No screenshots by the way sorry.

Theres a hole in the map in F10 kp 7/8 Its a hole about 9 feet deep that you cannot get out of in the hedges. From the lines/geometry, I don't think it was intended to be put there. There is no way out that I can tell other than killing yourself.

There is also a rather large death ditch around Brecourt Manner itself, I spent a good 10 minutes trying to rope out before an enemy squad got tired of hearing the rope sound and found me to....liberate me from my trap......(Northwestern side of the building on the road)

the whole map maps it impossible to move vehicles and sometimes inf through. I think it needs some serious work. Vehicles get battered trying to stay on the road

the entire map is not vehicle friendly ^^

I am mostly running around with HAT now killing tanks, I rarely see anyone using german tanks anymore. might be because they can owned by the american sherman..

I think it's been said many times before, but welcome to Bocage country :D

I think both tanks can kill eachother easy, it's just a matter of who gets eyes on who first.

Besides some accidental terrain issues (such as the hole of death), the map is not supposed to be vehicle friendly, however the tanks still play a huge role in the bocage country. They make good cover when moving in open terrain, and can cover down a road easily with their coax and hull mgs, not to mention their main cannon which is great against enemies in buildings and bunkers. It's just a matter of infantry and armor taking care of eachother, just like it should be.

I once seen a floating horse trough on this map. I'll report the coordinates next time I'm on it.
