I was playing Ramiel days ago and I just realized how slow the M2 .50 cal rate of fire is for nailing infantry.
So, I was thinking: can we have an option of choosing which machinegun will the buildable HMG get? Like choosing among M2, M240 or even M249.

HMG = Heavy Machine Gun. Wouldn't make sense placing a M240 or a M249, for that you'll have 2 kits that you can use and you'll economize one Supply Crate.
So it can only be either the M2 or the Kord.

Here's a suggestion at the OP that might sound a bit rude: Would you consider checking up what's the role of HMG's?
I mean, it's not really supposed to be a super fast infantry sniping killing machine that mows down platoons before you say "Moses".
