I had fun and finally popped my murder cherry :D

Didn't do too well as a squad but still lots of tension and atmosphere.

Pubbing afterwards felt very casual and stress free, what with the respawns and plentiful weaponry :D

Thanks people! Cheers, Murkey. (video going up soon).

The minimod is only available for the Survival Games Events.

Even if you would download the files, you would not be able to host your own server.

You can always participate in the next event. We are working hard on improving it and adding something new before each event.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

The Survival Games continue to be excellent!
  • The random spawning was a welcome challenge, and seemed to cut down on the need for multiple admins to supervise the round-start. The first event was smoothly run but this time it was just perfect; no waiting at all. This is a huge bonus in a community where events tend to get going far later than anticipated.
  • 3-man teams seemed to work out very well. I don't have a whole lot to add on that note since Red and I were only a 2-man team, but it felt like facing larger groups added an element of increased danger/tension.
  • I'm not really sure what I think of the respawn system (each team getting 1 respawn to use at their discretion). I kind of feel it overcomplicates things and detracts a little from the tension, but if people prefer having a second chance then I have no complaints.
Again, this was a great event and I look forward to participating more in future. My partner was a Survival Games virgin and he loved it too. Waiting in our Teamspeak channel before the event began, he said it felt like waiting for a rollercoaster to start, which is a perfect analogy IMO.

GJ again Onil.
