Blood splatters on bullet impact are back for 1.0 allegedly, not on a big scale but to something like the current 'dust puff' but read.

I tried to make a thread about this a while ago but got a message from a DEV saying why it wasn't possible or likely that it would be brought back.

Basically, the think was that because soldiers tend to wear either body armour or heavy duty gear, the blood doesn't spatter or spray anywhere, it just gets absorbed by whatever's around it, or (with newer armour especially) gets held within the wound as much as possible.

Spec also told me that it used to be in PR but was changed to a generic 'dust' effect against these issues.

Look at the Devcasts please... Before you talk.

Also, what wounded animation are you talking about 007? Never seen that.

Yup it used to be in 0.5 version of pr, which was the best mix of fun and realism, this is me and a bud playing, go a little bit further in the video to find the blood effect and how it looks...
