Will this be a functioning weapon system ingame, or just a static? Im confused, seems rather out of PR's scope.

Its a static SAM System for larger bases, so not a deployable SAM for FOB's

3797 tris, the wheels will most likely use planes so the count will go down.

Looking good! Can't really judge it without some edged faces shots but for that tri-count the level of detail seems nice overall. You can definitely afford to add some more sides to stuff like the ATGM tube, spotlight on top and the wheels.

Are you making it with any specific purpose in mind?

Yeah, going into COH, the low amount of edges on cylinders won't really change anything unless you zoom in to ground level.

Just noticed it's missing the IR light next to the cannon.

Does that ball effect onlu happens from within 3ds or also when UV'd and textured?

No idea. There is no UV:s or textures yet. But when rendered it looks like a ball. I will look into that.

I can share the model with anyone willing to modify it up to PR standards from my one, shouldn't be too hard tbh, just need to replace most of the cylinders with more sides, add some small fine details all over it and maybe improve the turret, since it's not exactly accurate. I have too much stuff of my own already.

Barely know anything about texturing besides the very lightning basics so this is how it turned out. I also have a Bmp1,2 and a brem if anyone are interested in seing.

Made a little rucksack for one of my classes. I'm gonna put it with my jeep render when I finish that (which feels like never with how busy I am)
