Re: Ask the [Dev]s a (?)
Not random. They gave us a good selection of things that we needed tested (assets, kits, factions, map size, insurgency vs aas, etc.). Also, we didn't want to release brand new maps in the beta since using established maps helps us rule out map-related problems when we get a bug report.sweedensniiperr wrote:was the maps choices for the beta random? if not, why those?

I've asked this before soccer, and you answered, but I wanted to follow up.
While you can see what maps are in the map list, it is rarely accurate, as admins set maps from round to round. Is it possible to show on PRSPY or"server info" what the next map selected is? I.e., is it possible to run a"! Shownext" command, especially with the servers that run ADF?

True, PRSPY uses the set map list and thus won't update if changed mid-game. I'll defer your second question to one of the other DEVs, such as AncientMan, as I'm not familiar with the server interface side of how v1.0 will work.CR8Z wrote:I've asked this before soccer, and you answered, but I wanted to follow up.

Re: Ask the [Dev]s a (?)
After the Beta's up, will we receive an update that allows us to only play Local Coop with bots on the maps that were in the Beta? That way we won't be like crackheads going cold turkey and we'd be able to get some practice in with the new mechanics while we wait for the completed v1.0 release.

Where can we report a player for racism on the forums for the EU servers?

Re: Ask the [Dev]s a (?)
It's no use man, racism has run a muck throughout most PR servers. It's really sad because I mostly hear it from the clan representing the server. I've reported several offenses on a certain clan's forum only to be ignored. As far as evidence goes, watch just about any PR video posted on youtube. Not a good image for the community.Mikemonster wrote:Where can we report a player for racism on the forums for the EU servers?
And now, we wait.....

Re: Ask the [Dev]s a (?)
Use the !r playername function ingame for any incidents on the official beta servers.
Failing that send me a pm if you want giving server name, approx time and offending player and I will pass it up the line for review.
Racism will not be tolerated on the official servers.

I have the same question..Mikemonster wrote:Where can we report a player for racism on the forums for the EU servers?
... but apparently it is allowed to name your squad "Nigga-Squad" in a server that is hosted in Germany.

Don't tell me, tell your admins
Other than that: Is the forum really slow for anyone else at the moment?

Jesus the n word and interround spam is obscene.
I really think mumble local should be off till round start, last night it was impossible to sort out our squad with all the shouting and 12 year old comments.

Iam afraid local before roundstart is equal to global because nobody spawned.

Re: Ask the [Dev]s a (?)
squads are three minutes on Beta servers if you talk on squad only your squad hears, on local everyone hears.
What I'm saying is that guys were shouting until time was at 0:00 so couldn't hear anything in squad.

Ah didnt know that, yeah than you should mute those local guys, but i think its nice to hear some comments about the prevouis round but the time should be limited maybe about 20-30 secs.
