- Removed friendly nametags. However they will still show if you aim at friendlies, but only if they have a player ID of less than 64.
Please tell us your game experience regarding the change above (do not just speculate).

yes, I played a little medic... and it was harder... but not too muchSteeps wrote:It's really hard to be a medic I will say. That is all.
That's the point! I absolutly agree with sangue.___sangue-ruim___ wrote:loved it too, and heres my feedback of some rounds:
1 - SQ members communicate better now among each other. Pick a kit and stick with it, so ppl know who you are in the SQ and wat you need
2 - SQ members stick together more now. You don't want to get shot because you are not with your SQ leader, coming from another direction
3 - You think better now, giving you way more awareness of wat is going on around you
4 - You still have your map to see where ppl are... ALL THE TIME... (no excuses telling you are lost on the map)
5 - It felt WAY more realistic for me, sure TKs are going to happen... but they didn't happen before this change?
6 - You have to identify your targets before shooting... just like IRL... and not shooting just because you didn't see a magical name appear above someone's head
7 - Of all the rounds I played... I didnt see an increase in the number of TKs.... it felt just the same
8 - ppl just complain because this way its harder to play (yeah it is)... but hey this is PR right?
9 - You will become a better player... just trust me on this one
10 - You will pay more attention to the sounds (where friends and enemies are shooting from). Also, the "local chat" feature of mumble will be more used, since you want to know who is talking to you... and not SQ chat all the time
11 - thx for the change... way better than having sometimes ppl with nametags, and sometimes dont... that was annoying...
ill think of other things when i play more... thx again

how could i forget about the pace of the game.... agreedPvt.LHeureux wrote:Yeah it's good. It slows the pace of the game, which is good with all the new changes with rallies and deviations.
More immervise (like 100x more) and calm.
Playing medic is really hard though, you don't see who needs a medic on your HUD anymore.

This!Mats391 wrote:its better than before but i would like it to have other way round, nametags when real close (~5m) to someone and never when aiming at him.

I am VERY happy with this change. Playing fools road at night was just the most immersive experience for a LOOONG time in PR!Pvt.LHeureux wrote: I hate that. I was SL and my squadmates couldn't see me so they were kindda lost...
From a technical point of view this doesn't work atm, otherwise we would have already done that. If a player with a higher ID than 64 joins the server, he doesn't get a nametag.BiFi.ftw wrote: I just feel like the engine is not sufficient and all my environment is lacking when I'm surrounded by some people who don't wear names for no reason, just because they joined later. I would really feel better when I know that everybody wears a name or doesn't.
Mumble local makes it easy and common rose too people will use it more.Steeps wrote:It's really hard to be a medic I will say. That is all.
Dots on the map should be fixed. There was previously an issue with machine gunner kits, but that was fixed in .22. Have you seen this issue since then?ghostfool84 wrote:Is it the same with the dots on the Map?
