I propose that spawntimes for those that have been teamkilled be reduced from the 60~ seconds currently (the same as getting killed under normal circumstances) to half that time, say 30 seconds. There is nothing worse than getting mercilessly gunned down by friendly even though you are calling "check fire" and then being punished for it by having to wait 60 seconds to spawn. It would definitely soften the blow of a silly teamkill when you know you don't have to wait as long.
I do not support increasing spawntimes for a teamkiller because everyone makes mistakes.
The only real problem I can think of is in certain situations, players who are near mainbase, will teamkill each other rather than RTB as it might be slightly faster. This would be a rare occurrence and not worth considering as a drawback.
There is never a better time to consider the suggestion with the influx of new players and the large jump in teamkills as a result
