Hehe those skirmish u see are probably just map because server crashed, so first map is skirmish, so the people can join, warm up and prepare for real round of *** or insurgency.

This is because some servers do not have assets rule for minimum players on servers, and because players in *** server with 20 people will rush with tanks and take all flages before server is full.

Skirmish is good for your gun game.
Skirmish is for server seeding.

This was already said like thousand times but who cares...

If it destroys the mods then why do you keep playing with it?

or because a 4 or even 2 km map is not fun when playing at 10vs10?

But, honestly... Skirmish is a blast on certain maps even w/ 100p!

The hell hound map Kokan Skirmish is a pain.

I consider it Frag Fest 1.0

Skirmish on full servers is the most awesome thing ever made. If you throw a grenade inside a house or over a wall you gonna score 10 kills, camping with an AR will get you 200/1 K/D, there's no way one can dislike it.

But the magic of it is doing it all alongside with others.

Skirmish is OK. I like it.
And my suggestion is to make more skirmish layers on each map. Skirmish 16, 32, 64. There will be different locations, different size. It could be even a light transport jeep at some layers, so players can use more tactics with transportation, supplying flags with fresh infantry) It not very hard to do.
I like Skirmish.
I place it here again:

The result was that my cat died, computer bluescreend, my car exploded, water leaks in the entire house, food got destroyed by broken fridge, the heater went through the roof and I lost my job.

Well, it's fast..... and it's fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuunnnnnnn..
The biggest question is: How can you play PR with all that water leaking in the house  :39_poscom : :shrk:

Think of skirmish as a pub game before the pub gets crowded. Not too serious, doesn't have vehicles but is awesome to play with some players until there's enough of them to switch to a game-mode that uses vehicles/assets.
