If i shot you with a 7.62 rifle from 100m-1000m i would gaurente you would be out of action/taken from the field Unable to fight till full recovery This could be showed by the one hit kill.
Shooting somone in the leg and killing them is very "call of duty"
You aim for the area of center mass which is generally the armored area of the target thus failing your kill shot you suggested of the legs
The main point of my post is that there needs to be a decent difference between the DMRs and the more professional conventional sniper, no they dont OHK but you can get 2 accurate shots off faster than the sniper rifle can thus making it easier to kill the enemy.
Your 100m picture of the soldiers yellow and red hit boxes is very much appreciated im sure you have it stuck to the side of your monitor. Good luck shooting people in the leg
