Since we have some weaponry which is actually has some ballistics working, not always we have a proper reticle for it.

Not very accurate but you got the idea, why do I have to figure "9" is equals to 150m if i would just overlay a similar image over reticle in-game, since there is a legit software for it exists?
So I wonder how devs and community would react to it.

Re: custom reticles
Presumably you could, that way, add crosshairs when the weapon is at low ready, and you're not aiming through the sights/scope? That'd be an unfair advantage.

Yeah the BMP-1 reticule is a *****, but you get used to it. It is like what the RPG-7 scope was pre-1.0umadbro wrote:Since we have some weaponry which is actually has some ballistics working, not always we have a proper reticle for it.

Re: custom reticles
It's not that hard to center your screen, crosshair or no crosshair - of course you aren't ultra precise but neither is the weapon when you're not aiming down the sights, so it all boils down to luck(and luck is the opposite of advantage). Not to mention you don't need additional models and asking for permission to use them if you put a small little dot in the center of your screen, so I don't think your dissent actually applies given that you can "cheat" undetectably using aforementioned method.[R-MOD]Spec wrote:Presumably you could, that way, add crosshairs when the weapon is at low ready, and you're not aiming through the sights/scope? Re: custom reticles
Detectable or not, I'd consider it a cheat if sight pictures are improved / added. Even if it's just a dot on the screen. And I'm quite good at shooting at the center without dots, so I know it's easy.
