The LAV-25 had no changes in v1.1 afaik. It also has the Scorpion to fear btw especially if it adopts hit and run tactics.

There was an event from BigD Community once, featuring Muttrah INS GameMod. Otherwise no. And honestly the map does not fit into the INS scenario. Neither in RL nor ingame.

I like the city during the evening (at the end of the video)Spook wrote:Take a closer look here if you want
Btw I cannot believe you removed the old loading track you monsters! ... new one is cool, but meh...
I could see that being a map in PR2 with all of the new engine's lighting capabilities

Rhino mentioned that he might work on a night layer for his Muttrah 2.5 whenever he finds the time for it. But since this is very low priority this will probably not gonna happen anytime soon.

Blackhawk or Seahawk are just too big for the map. Just as the Osprey is. Its useless imo and should be removed. its too fast and too big. After reaching max. speed you already need to start slowing down to not overfly your target. Its only good for supply runs and even they usually fail, because everything on the map sees and starts shooting you. Hueys are perfect. Anything bigger is useless on such a small map.ElshanF wrote:Rhino would it be possible to get a blackhawk to act as a seahawk or would you rather have an actual seahawk or even do you even like the idea of a seahawk

The USMC do not use either.ElshanF wrote:Rhino would it be possible to get a blackhawk to act as a seahawk or would you rather have an actual seahawk or even do you even like the idea of a seahawk
I've seen it used quite effectively and have myself too. Its a hard thing to use on the map I agree but I wouldn't call it useless, unless its in the hands of a bad pilot. I've also had quite a few calls from ppl asking to make it respawnable on AAS64 since I made it non-respawnable and to lower the spawn time on it back to 15mins on AAS128 since I made the v1.1 changes.Spook wrote:Blackhawk or Seahawk are just too big for the map. Re: Muttrah City
I played alot of Muttrah rounds and I cannot remember ever seeing the osprey survive more than 2 or 3 supply runs. Even with skilled pilots in it. In 99% of all cases I see something like this:

Its an awesome and unique vehicle that should be seen on more maps. Too bad there are so few big US Marines Maps where it could be used.

Re: Muttrah City
First time I flew it I kept it up for pretty much the entire round, till the MEC started to attack docks and I got shot up on the ground by an APC who rushed in but after that we lost docks anyways
But ye, that pilot in that video was just asking for someone to shoot him, I'm surprised he didn't die sooner in fact hehe. This being the reasons for my v1.1 updates so bad pilots can't keep on wasting it over and over

We had this already.'[R-DEV wrote:Rhino;1973498']https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=muttra ... k&t=h&z=15
The only thing around Muttrah is more city, sea, mountains and a park with a giant incense burner
Nearest airport is ~35km away.
This is also not to mention that the largest map size, using ingame terrain, is 4km and working with scale 4 grids isn't going to work very well with things like the sea walls etc and 1/2 of the detail I put into the mountains and other bits of the terrain etc would be lost.

Re: Muttrah City
Rhinos incredible old age is clearly getting to him, how could he let this gamebreaking issues into his map?
