Community Factions

Can someone please clear up to me which community made factions are still actively being developed?
The community factions forum section gets changed like every month into a different hierarchy. First every faction had it's own section, but now it's all put into one heap and any info can't be found.


I'm especially interested in the dutch faction and the PMC faction.

Off the top of my head, Norwegian, Finish, Dutch, Syrian, Polish and ww2 are still active.

The forum structure has changed once, actually :p .

No ADF either, rats. Was hoping to see some Bushmasters and the Austyer join the fight.
EDIT: Here's hoping that the dutch faction has bushmasters ;)

Tough to say. To be honest a PMV hitting a mine is still a total write off and no one inside is going to be in fighting condition afterwards. It's a fantastic piece of kit, but it's hard to model that in game.

Its armoured like a tank but like the real thing a IED will total it:

Ingame an arty IED will kill it, but it should have some resistance againt regular IED's

Maybe if after hitting an IED they don't blow up instantly, but reach critical damage allowing the inf to dismount before it blows up, that way mines aren't as useless ingame against them, but they still would have that realisticness of protecting the mounted inf from the IED.

Would be nice to see them in a REALLY slow bleed when they get out too.

I talked to K4on about this, it should be doable. Needs some new or changed materials, but we'll work on it.

Just like what the VAB does when it gets blown up by an arty ied, you're given a few seconds to jump out and run away.

Tbh is actually shouldn't matter that much which sort of ied is used. There were some leaks a few years back relating to the size of a blast needed to roll one in country by a certain well known military writer embedded with Australian forces. Take what you will out of it, but the main take away point is that a blast large enough to roll the 15t vehicle is still not enough to penetrate the bottom hull or kill the occupants.

Maybe if the same mechanics that are used the "track" tanks can be used here, so an IED will only disable it's mobility.

Invincible No, hard to kill in one blow for sure.
